I commit to:

• Work to keep administrative costs down and place resources in the classroom
• Scrutinize the budget, especially travel and credit card expenditures, to eliminate wasteful spending
• Promote the best use of technology and programs that provide job skills
• Ensure that the colleges comply with all state and federal laws
• Ensure that the board does not violate the Open Meeting Law.  All board business will be done in public with no backroom deals
• Work to get more community college classes in high school
• Work to keep community college costs affordable
• Keep the focus of the colleges on excellence in teaching and learning to best serve your educational needs.
